Architrave free Kits - steel lined
PRICES FROM £446.00+VAT
For installations where a minimal aesthetic is required or where the door opening needs to be frameless (i.e. without architrave), our P7300 kits offer a range of heavy duty steel door linings. These sections enable the skim coat to be applied and the whole frame is then painted / finished to blend in with the surrounding wall, resulting in a 125mm finished wall thickness.
As standard, kits accommodate doors 38-44mm thick, kits are also are supplied with flush bracket sets. For doors over 2700mm high or 1500mm wide, please contact the sales office. For doors over 2400mm high the use of the P5700 reinforcing kit is recommended

Removing door architraves makes rooms look more contemporary by creating cleaner, uninterrupted lines and a seamless visual flow between walls, doors, and ceilings. Traditional architraves add decorative framing that emphasizes the door as a separate element, whereas omitting them allows doors to sit flush with the wall, blending into the architecture.
This minimalist approach highlights simplicity, precision, and material continuity—key qualities of modern design. Without the visual clutter of trims, spaces appear more open, refined, and sculptural. The result is a sleek, understated aesthetic that focuses attention on form, proportion, and light rather than ornamentation.
