Flush door

PRICES FROM £795+VAT

Flush doors are simple door designs that have plain facings on both sides and are often kept deliberately simple in appearance to highlight other features nearby, or so as not to be intrusive.

Portman 44mm thick flush doors have a solid graduated density chipboard core @ approx. 28kg m2, and have a solid timber perimeter affixed on all four edges to better aid morticing and/or fitting of hardware.

These doors have a flush (flat) surface without any decorative features, hence their name.

Doors can be supplied with Kraft papered faces and edge lipping's primed ready for site painting or pre painted. Should the door have a timber veneer applied then the direction of the grain for the veneer can be either horizontal, as is usually the case with sliding doors or vertical to match other doors in the vicinity.

Veneered finishes are typically supplied with clear lacquer, 20-30% sheen. Veneered doors can be supplied as sand finish/unfinished for onsite colour matching and French polishing.

Our standard finishing options include; White RAL 9003, Primed, Crown cut Ash, Crown cut Cherry, Crown cut Maple, Crown cut American Oak, Crown cut American Walnut, Quarter cut Koto, Crown cut White Beech, Crown cut Steamed Beech, and Quarter cut Sapele.

Other finishes are available, please contact sales office to discuss.

Production - Spray Shop

On the left are three example flush door leaves which have had all the mottices and cut outs pre machined before spray painting. Typically this process helps mitigate possible damage which might occur if the doors are machined post final finishing. The other standard option is for us to supply machined and primed only ready for site to decorate to match other existing site finishes.
